🛍 General Store Policies
All BathHouse Candy products are handmade in small batches. Variations in color, texture, or appearance are normal and part of the artisan process.
Prices, product availability, and promotions may change at any time without notice.
📦 Orders & Shipping
Customers are responsible for entering accurate shipping information at checkout. We cannot reroute packages once they are in transit.
Shipping is calculated using our flat‑rate system:
- $6.00 for the first item
- $2.00 for each additional item
Processing time is 3–5 business days, not including transit time.
🔄 Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
Due to the nature of personal care products, all sales are final.
We do not accept returns or exchanges.
If your order arrives damaged, please get in touch with us within 48 hours, including photos, so we can assist you.
BathHouse Candy is not responsible for packages marked delivered by USPS.
🕯 Workshop Terms
By booking a workshop, you agree to the following:
1. Non‑Refundable & Non‑Transferable
All workshop bookings are final. Seats cannot be refunded, transferred, or rescheduled.
2. Arrival & Participation
Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may miss portions of the class, and materials will not be repeated.
3. Age Requirements
- Standard workshops: Ages 13+
- Family‑friendly workshops: Ages 8+ with adult supervision
4. BYOB Policy
Guests may bring their own wine or beverages where permitted.
You must be 21+ to consume alcohol. Please drink responsibly.
🔥 Workshop Liability Waiver
By booking and attending a BathHouse Candy workshop, you acknowledge and agree to the following liability terms:
1. Assumption of Risk
Candle‑making involves working with hot wax, heated equipment, fragrance oils, dyes, tools, and open flames. By participating, you voluntarily accept all risks associated with these activities, including minor burns, spills, or reactions to materials.
2. Release of Liability
You agree to release and hold harmless BathHouse Candy, its owner, and its representatives from any and all claims, injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during or after the workshop, including those resulting from misuse of equipment or failure to follow instructions.
3. Safety Requirements
Participants agree to:
- Follow all instructor directions.
- Handle hot wax and equipment responsibly.
- Keep personal belongings away from work areas.
- Wear appropriate clothing and closed‑toe shoes.
- Maintain a safe and respectful workspace.
Failure to follow safety guidelines may result in removal from the workshop without refund.
4. BYOB Responsibility
Alcohol consumption is at your own risk. BathHouse Candy is not responsible for accidents or injuries related to alcohol use before, during, or after the workshop.
5. Allergies & Sensitivities
Workshops may involve fragrance oils, essential oils, botanicals, dyes, and other materials.
It is the participant’s responsibility to be aware of personal allergies or sensitivities. BathHouse Candy is not liable for allergic reactions.
6. Personal Property
BathHouse Candy is not responsible for damage to clothing, jewelry, phones, bags, or other personal items. Aprons are provided, but participants should dress appropriately.
7. Minors
Minors must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
Parents/guardians assume full responsibility for the safety and behavior of minors during the workshop.
8. Photography & Media
BathHouse Candy may take photos or videos during workshops for marketing purposes.
If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify the instructor before the workshop begins.
9. Agreement to Terms
Booking a workshop serves as your digital signature agreeing to all workshop rules, safety guidelines, and this liability waiver.
10. Non‑Refundable & Non‑Transferable
All workshop bookings are final.
Seats cannot be refunded, transferred, or rescheduled.
11. No‑Show Policy
If you do not attend your scheduled workshop, your booking will be forfeited.
